The Ascent: Emergence

In Ipswich Massachusetts, three young magical women, Ava, Georgina, and Emmeline, live quiet lives. Ava, a witch rejecting her witchhood, Georgina, a repudiated Christian medium and minister’s daughter, and Emmeline, an emerging Quaker healer, orphaned and alone, unexpectedly encounter two friendly strangers, Grant and Nathanael Obellion. As they confront their individual gifts, they welcome the Obellions into their lives unaware that these new guests are hiding a centuries-old secret: they have known the young women before in a past life where they magically cursed the Obellions for generations. The Obellions seek revenge and attempt to undo the curse that still plagues them, but will need the women’s powers to do so.
