Jeremy DePatrick doesn't remember the exact moment his son died. He just remembers the moment when it all ended - after the mourners had left and the grieving began. But a knock on the door in the middle of the night forces him down a path of remembrance. He also doesn't understand why his wife doesn't want to sleep with him anymore. She doesn't seem to care, seemingly lost in a trance. Jeremy wants to open the door, to face his fears, and move past the grief. But he always hesitates. For what is on the other side of the door may not be what he expects...
