A diary has been found left behind in the back of a church. The author, a man named Grey, claims he is a demon that has escaped from Hell. Grey is looking for salvation and feels the only path to being granted access to Heaven is to save the souls of one family set on a direction toward eternal damnation. Armed with just a bag of journals chronicling his past mistakes, a priest that appears touched by God, and a mysterious woman from his past, Grey must balance the growing feelings he has for the beautiful carefree daughter, Lily, while staying focused on bringing the street thug brother, Walter, back to God. But a powerful creature, tasked with recruiting for the legions of Hell, has crawled from the ground and is on the hunt for Grey. Given the ultimatum to bring Grey back or forever be doomed to wander in the World of God’s Children, the creature will stop at nothing to get Grey to fall back on his demonic ways and thus ruin his chances for salvation. Can Grey save a soul and endear himself to God, or will he further damage his own soul in the process?
