When Brandy finds her brother, Miller, standing in a grocery store looking sick and disheveled, she begins to worry about him. When he asks for meat, and he's been a vegetarian for years, she knows something is seriously wrong. She takes him to the home she shares with their mother and their teenage cousin, Wade. They take care of him and try to nurse him through his mysterious illness. But Miller acts increasingly more distant, and his appetite for meat grows more voracious by the day. Brandy is frightened as her brother changes into someone - something - else right in front of her. Brandy, their Mom and Wade only want to help Miller, but nothing can help with his cravings for meat and his determination to get it, at any cost. Brandy is left to fight to protect her family and keep them safe from the terror and heartache that has become her family.
