When terrorists use a new chemical weapon against the people in a shopping mall on Black Friday, they accidently create flesh-eating ghouls. Kylie Moriarty leads a group of survivors, including a child who is the last hope for mankind, to the last safe refuge, a place in England. But something even worse than the ghouls is out there, and it wants the child and everyone around her dead. If Kylie fails to protect the child, the human race is doomed to a fate worse than death.
