About the Author

David Dean grew up loving the books of Dean Koontz and the films of John Carpenter. He is an avid fan of science fiction and horror, writing novels, novellas, and short story anthologies that challenge each reader's perceived understanding of reality, science, and religion, and the role each plays in the ongoing struggle between good and evil in every human being. Many of David's stories had their genesis within the construct of various writers groups in Raleigh and Wilmington, North Carolina. He believes in the power of such groups to provide valuable feedback and fellowship as writers take the long, arduous journey of sharing their creativity with others. David enjoys spending time with his wife, dogs, friends and family in the coastal paradise surrounding Topsail Island, North Carolina, while doing his best to make a positive impact in people's lives.
