At first skeptical, Kat finds herself inexorably drawn into its dark history and a litany of extraordinary coincidences. As she becomes more and more seduced by the house and its spectral occupant, it becomes clear that all is not well, and everything comes to a head with the arrival of a distant relative she never knew existed.
