Years later the little girl was led to believe her mother bled to death after the delivery. The little girl was named for the color of the robe her homeless and unidentified mother wore when she gave birth and died. The teenager had arranged to put her daughter up for adoption or at least that is what the little girl was told.What follows is the story of Lavender Marie Rhymes.
