Sheriff Sanders and the Curse of the Vampire Duck

Sheriff Sanders and the Curse of the Vampire Duck

"The face floated my way. It got closer, and closer, and closer. The fog parted a bit, and two red eyes glowed brighter than car headlights. I swallowed hard…and watched in horror as the red eyes formed into a duck. It was floating in the air without flying. The duck opened its beak and hissed, revealing two fangs as sharp as Mrs. Cassidy’s kitchen knives." Shane Bradley grew up in Tool, a small town in rural East Texas. He was bored often, so he wrote stories for his friends and family. He especially loved writing scary stories about monsters, vampires, ghosts, and things that go bump in the night. After all, his childhood home was haunted. His favorite authors were, and are, H.G. Wells, Mary Downing Hahn, Betty Ren Wright, and John R. Erickson. He currently lives in Arizona with his wife, Jessica, their two kids, Bonnie and Benjamin, and their fat cat, Bean. When he isn’t writing, he's taking photographs of Arizona’s vast landscapes and searching for the Mogollon Monster.
