Ten Tales of Terror

“All you have to do is to sign my black book, and the answer you seek, shall be revealed unto you.” “I sign your book, and I’m cancer free. Is that what you’re selling me?” Tom asked, pointing to the book with his index finger, unable to take his eyes off from it. “I’m not selling,” the tall dark figure replied slyly, “I’m buying.” Suddenly the black book opened before him, not by hands, or wind, not even by accident, but something supernatural, even diabolical, something Tom couldn’t explain. The book called out, and his hand went for the pen. He seemed to be writing without having any control over the matter. He had signed his name, and suddenly the words that were written in Latin came just as fresh and readable as any English text. He hadn’t realized until now, that he had signed away his very own soul. In short, He had sold his soul to the Devil.
