Trail of the Wolf

Trail of the Wolf is a simple story, about a man lost in a sea of trees. A man with the simple urge to better his life. But the thirst for a simple cup of coffee led him to a simple detour sign. With not so simple twists and turns. Marcus Delawright, is a struggling writer; making his way east to restart his life. Driven by the urge to research an idea for a novel along the way. The idea was to experience America's most haunted areas. To inspire him for a story to terrify those who read it to the bone. But taking that simple detour sign proved "he" was becoming that story. A slick spot on the fog covered road. Turned into an inevitable crash. That turned Marcus's simple trip into a race for his life. Among the fog stalked a monstrous beast, of inhuman capabilities. Chasing Marcus through the forest, to a dingy old house. Aged and weathered. Marcus believes he has found his salvation. But soon will discover, he's just found what he's been searching for all along. Proof of hauntings. Stuck among the gruesome ghosts that reside, Marcus must discover an escape. Or be cursed to exist with them. Torturing his mind. Forcing him to flirt with insanity. Placing him in a position to decide where he wants to die. In the woods or in the house. No place is safe. No rescue is coming. No salvation is to be found. His only hope is to escape the forest that has trapped him. Will Marcus discover the answers to the mysterious house? Will he find his escape in time? Will he ever sip his coffee? Or will the nightmare that chases him, catch up?
