Deacon is a character that enters in the second book in the Growler Chronicles series. We are introduced to him after he has become somewhat battle hardened. This is his ‘origin story’. We see his journey. How did he survive the early days of the apocalypse? Be warned, he has, perhaps, the most harrowing story of any of the protagonists in the growler chronicles. He starts Z day in the nightmare called Highschool, he is 14, young, dumb, and full of… distractions, and self-recriminations. He is a survivor though. But what he faces in a pitch black basement...The artwork was all initially generated by the author using Midjourney and then extensively enhanced and altered.
