The Samuel B. Mumford House, 66 College Street was the last place Howard Philips Lovecraft lived. Although it has been reported he died at the Jane Brown Memorial Hospital on Eddy St. on March 15, 1937, that is not true. He was in fact already dead when he was taken to the hospital on March 10, 1937. This then is the tale of the true circumstances involving the death of H. P. Lovecraft; unfortunately I know the full, horrifying truth.
