On the sidewalk of the Lightning Bolt Theatre, everything is “abnormal as always” for a group of misfit teenagers. Then a sudden thunder and lightning storm! Inside the theatre the bewildered and frightened teenagers find themselves mysteriously interacting with costumed actors who are auditioning for the roles of the tragic poet and storyteller Edgar Allan Poe, his insane sister and the grief stricken aunt. But are they really 21st century actors? Or can a lightning bolt cause things to be more abnormal than usual?
