In a medieval world where cloak and dagger affairs have largely precluded violent wars, specialized groups, known as the Headsmen, are relied on to carry out targeted assassinations. Major Zekyle Crane was the leader of one of these groups until he and his men were sent into exile. Left stranded upon a remote island in the middle of the Xymerian Sea, hope was a fleeting effort until a mysterious ship arrived with an offer they couldn't refuse. Zeke knew this second chance would require them to reprise their former role. But what he didn't expect is that their road to redemption involved a conspiracy that would unravel the origins of mankind and change history forever. Now this band of misfits will have to track down an entity that has cheated both time and the extinction of his race for the last 25 million years. However, this ancient predecessor has locked himself behind an alien gateway that allows him to engineer both Zeke's world as well as his own. With their chances being a long shot, Zeke and his men will have to surrender everything they knew about the past in order to embark on an epic journey to secure their own future.
