Warning – This book contains graphic depictions of gore, sex and torturous brutality. Q: What makes your writing so special? A: I wrote a story that I’d love to read, without anything watered down, where the characters aren’t necessarily put into boxes like good and evil but are relatable and able to justify their often vile behaviour to themselves and the reader. The story isn’t your standard tale where the reader sees a pattern and knows what’s going to happen 25 pages before it does. I intentionally added numerous twists, schemes and red herrings so it will never be predictable. There is a shock factor to my writing and I admit you have to have a strong stomach to get through parts, but for fans of gore or dark books this should be welcomingly brutal. Q: What other books do you write? A: This took me 10 years to complete and I haven’t divided my time with other projects, although I am currently compiling sinister re-workings of some of my favourite fairy-tales that includes all manner of corruption and nastiness. Q: Why should readers give your book a try? A: The main reason is it’s a great story, which has to be the backbone of everything. Among the sex, murder and bloodshed the story is paramount. This book keeps a fast pace and is littered with monsters, beasts and creatures, as well as some of the most manipulating humans you would never wish to meet. There are battles, alliances and betrayals throughout and a certain gallows humour that will hopefully be appreciated.

About the Author

Rich Paleschi is clearly a very odd man with far too much time on his hands. His decision to completely sell out and write a romantic novel for financial gain soon became infected with his usual brutal beastliness and within five pages a murder/suicide occurred (acid attack and slashed wrists). After a great deal of swearing he returned to the warm embrace of gory, monster laden dark fantasy.His books prove that a mixture of horror films, metal music and violent video games has utterly corrupted him.He lives in Brighton with his wife and daughter, striving to be as bone idle as possible, whilst making the world think he's really positive.
