Bill Relf, author of Thoughts of Empire: A Political ThrillerBill Relf has been an entrepreneur since an early age, starting his own lawn care, house painting and snow shoveling business when he was 12. He earned degrees in economics and theology, an MBA, and a PhD in international relations, as well as managing a congressional campaign. He founded six manufacturing and consulting businesses.When China opened up in the early 1980s, Relf sought business opportunities there. He taught international management, strategy, and entrepreneurship as a professor at California State University, the Peter Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, and Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. Relf, who believes creating a good story is a work of art, also wrote The Iranian Connection, another novel starring Cash. He and his wife, Virginia, live in California.
