The Moving Soul

Three hundred and thirty-five years ago, a settler in the Virginia colonies completed a sacrificial spell and buried a legendary occult book for the next one destined to find it. Now, that person has: Darin Dague, freshman at Jamestown University and deranged sociopath. His chosen target for the spell is his shy, studious roommate, Louis Paige. About the Author

Joshua Criss spent 20 years as a Washington, D.C.-area contractor writing outreach for federal agencies before moving to the deep woods of West Virginia. His 2003 documentary The Flyingest Flying won the Virginia Independent Film Festival and was called "...the best work on the history of hang gliding ever done, in any medium" by the U.S. Hang Gliding Association. The Moving Soul is his first novel. He lives with his cat, Dusty.
