As years go by and occupants of the home change, Johnny’s determination to find a new mommy teaches life lessons to both the residents and the elder specter.

Jenifer Kay Hood is an award-winning journalist, poet, and playwright. She is the author of the non-fiction work Network Marketing for Introverts, the plays Fatal Interview and Bunny and Vincent, the historic novel Bunny and Vincent, and she worked on the documentary films Ishi: The Last Yahi (Best Film, Berlin Film Festival and Emmy(R)-nominated), and Tell the Truth and Run: George Seldes and the American Press (Oscar(R)-nominated). She is also the co-author of Unstoppable Joy: 12 Steps to a Happier You (with Ed Osworth). She lives and works in Salem, Oregon.
