At the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in the early 1900's, a controlled flood fills a valley of farmland with what is now called, The Great Sacandaga Lake, displacing and uprooting whole communities. Unaware of the area's dark history, Michael and Johanna Beaufort and their son, Justin, buy a vacation home just overlooking the lake. But the family soon finds out that they may have purchased more than they bargained for as strange things start happening. A violent entity has a secret that it doesn't want to be revealed...
