Inside The Kingdom

Adam sat alone on the edge of the bunk below deck. Confusion surrounded his emotions. Buried his elbows deep into his thighs, breathing deep and sweating, rubbing his forehead back and forth almost digging his finger nail deep his scalp, uttering prayers and begging forgiveness, the moral fibers of his soul begged to be released. The demon buried deeper pried its way to the surface. The sins of the devil were released and the beast over ruled the last human emotion he had. Joints of his fingers extended and cracked. Fire burned around the edges of the mouth dripping and drooling spit. In one instant Adam reared back and held the bunk with disdain. The creature seemed to calm down. Sweat rolled off the edges of his forehead and hot flashes of feasting filled the urge to change. Adam screamed out loud. “Jonathon come, help me now!” Jonathon jumped straight up and away from Eva. Stood completely nude before her, turning around grabbing clothes and trying to dress at the same time, fear engulfed his thoughts, knowing Adam was in danger and uncontrollable for the moment. Pushing the cabin door open and rushing around a corner to open the door and face Adam. Embracing his brother and calming the rage of the beast.”
