Zombies are attacking! Zombies! Huh…Zombies? They have invaded downtown Manhattan and are spreading to the rest of the United States. LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!The hot South American jungle, a locked up patient zero, an airplane that is ravaged by a deadly virus, zombie hillbillies and zombie cows! Plus everything in between that is infected; infects this novel! My novel, The Virus, starts off with the search for a South American treasure named The Golden Pyramid. This artifact is rumored to be haunted and the locals are terrified of it, with good reason of course. However, this does not stop a greedy archeologist named Professor McMuster from seeking it out as his last hope of remaining in the professional world. The Golden Pyramid turns out to be infected with a virus -- a zombie virus that is, turning humans into flesh eating monsters! The terror begins when Professor McMuster escapes Paraguay, but is infected himself, and the virus quickly spreads around the United States when he sends the artifact to his soon to be ex-wife. It is now up to only a few survivors, ranging from a gun-toting granny to an "off-off-off" Broadway diva, to save the day and keep their group of survivors from becoming the zombies’ next snack. The military is aware. The President gives orders, but only from a well hidden bunker in the Pennsylvania mountains, miles underground. The media is feasting on the stories--as the zombies feast on the media! It is up to four young children to lead their respective group of survivors to a "safe" location in Colorado. The children all have a vision at the same time of the Colorado safe area but they are nowhere near each other when it happens! Meanwhile, the dead or should I say the un-dead, toll rises. As the zombie feasting continues, the human population declines, while the governments of the world are threatening to blow up the United States, the biggest questions are…Will we survive? And is there really a worse fate then death?
