At the begining of the zombie outbreak, Alan finds and rescues a baby from a small group of zombies. Thirteen years later Alan comes across the biological mother of the baby he rescued. Upon agreeing to bring her back to reunite with her child, they find their group had been attacked and Thomas, the kid, has been taken. Now Alan and Lucy travel to go and find Thomas. Between the zombies, cultists, and other humans, they will stop at nothing to rescue Thomas.
