The House at Pine-Apple Woods

Who killed the trees? Was it an accident or murder? And what really happened to the Mistress of Pine-Apple Woods? One hundred years after her disappearance, the Pine-Apple Woods mansion is up for sale and the Harris family is traveling from California to upstate Washington hoping to be able to purchase it. The catch? The house seems to have a mind of its own, and many strange happenings are about. Rumor has it that the mistress was kept prisoner in a secret room somewhere in the mansion, but no one has ever been able to discover its whereabouts. The Harris children, Holly and Chip, along with their great grandmother, and cousins – Carl, PJ and Bits, join forces to try to find the secret room, setting the spirit of the mistress free, before time runs out. Is the presence in the house friendly or sinister? Evil or good? Who is the woman in the blue mist? And what about the silver cat? Is she real or a phantom? No one really knows for sure. Why was the young mistress imprisoned, and who was ultimately responsible for her imprisonment, and eventual death, in THE HOUSE AT PINE-APPLE WOODS? The answer may surprise you. Will the mistress ever be re-united with those she loves, or is she forever doomed to wander the afterlife alone?
