Veiled in Black (Robert Benoit Series Book 4)

Book Four of the Robert Benoit Series begins at a seedy motel, where Bobby is set to take down a vampire involved in the sex slave trade. But when Desirée Le Gallienne learns his target is a Romanian master named Vlad Voicu, complications arise. As usual, Benoit works the case with Detective Kimberly Hawkins. The Wildwood Werewolf Pack wants to honor Kim for saving the alpha female’s life. She is understandably nervous—the ceremony must be held during the full moon, when the pack members turn into wolves and are at their most feral and unpredictable. FBI Special Agent Elena Sullivan tries to shut Hawkins out of the case and keep Benoit on a short leash during a raid on Voicu’s St. Louis lair. When the FBI operation goes south, they ignore her orders and help the SWAT team. Afterward, Sullivan makes a startling revelation: a US Senator’s daughter was taken by Vlad Voicu, and she wasn’t among the girls Benoit saved during the raid. A rescue mission abroad is planned. Benoit’s destination: Romania. Or is it Venice? And what is happening with his mate, Felicia? Surprises aplenty await Robert Benoit, Desirée and their international team of werewolves and vampires. They must resort to modern firearms, medieval weapons, claws and fangs to survive.
