Natasha Carmichael is a 109-year-old half-caste, or child born to a woman fed vampire blood during her pregnancy, of remarkable power. It is up to her to solve the mystery before the deadly Soong Order decides to solve it by killing every vampire and half-caste in town. Now if only she could get Anton, the local vampire Master, to focus on the death sentences instead of getting her into bed.
