Warrenna s parents hid the family curse for years, blending into society, hiding in plain sight. Discovering she was a vampire at sixteen turned her world upside down. Patrick Vaughn was raised in Sierra Vista, Arizona and now lives in Phoenix. His first book, The Cure for the Curse, won the 2007 Glyph Award for Best Young Adult/Juvenile Fiction Book. The Allure of the Curse is his second release in a planned series of seven featuring Zera s Orphans. He is married and works at a non-profit agency serving visually impaired children.
