In the heart of Asia, a cave on the site of Tamerlane’s tower of ten thousand human skulls begins emitting strange energies. James DeRudio, an agent in an elite United States agency, is dispatched to the cave to uncover why these energies are being transmitted around the globe and what they mean. James soon finds himself in a sprawling underground installation, his team wiped out except for a mysterious woman named Illyanna. Who built this base, and why? What was the purpose, and what weird energies power the unnatural things that happen? Who or what killed his team, and why? Before long James finds himself and Illyanna solving a series of mysteries that lead them deeper into secrets from the past, uncovering terrifying truths. But are they actually getting closer to solving the mystery of the cave, or are they dancing to the rhythm of someone else’s plans?
