The eyes of loneliness grasp this poor soul, leading him deeper into forgetfulness and depression. He no longer knows his emotions, no longer sees the light of day. What may come of him? A metaphorical representation of a real life struggle between depression and the emotions that are buried within. I, The Chooser is a very short, 4,000 or so word long story about what depression feels like to a Poet/Strategist. The hope is only what you make it, and depression is only beaten by the ones who choose not to falter. Things change within him, but will he ever escape its clutch? Note: This is my first published work on Amazon, so go easy on me. There is more Dark Fantasy to come in the near future!
