In the Middle Ages, a man named Seamus stands as a leader to his people, a group thrown into a state of exile due to war. Years after the exile, a confrontation with a landowner and his men leads to the mass murder of Seamus’ people, and places his own life on the verge of certain death.But a forgotten agreement made years ago with a supposed witch gives the fallen man new life as a demon. With more questions than answers, Seamus walks alone searching not only for information about his new state of being, but also for a purpose to his new found life. He finds both when he stumbles upon a group of noble fighters known as the Brotherhood of Kardeak and joins them. But when he meets one of their enemies, a soul burning demon like himself, his loyalty to the brotherhood will be tested. Will he fight alongside the group of humans who have accepted his demon nature, or will he turn his back on them and side with his fellow demon?
