Brochures list the “Hotel California” as a quaint recreation of a 1920’s speakeasy hotel a relatively short drive north of Sacramento California. This “adults only” mini theme hotel allows couples to experience the Roaring 20’s in all its glory. Modern hotels rooms are provided to the guests. A few select guests may be so caught up in the experience (or rather the real residents of the hotel) that they continue to experience the hotel in their dreams. This is my story; from hotel, to dreams to beyond. It is a tale of vampires, werewolves, and the most evil of all creatures; politicians.
