Deadly Vanity

A groundbreaking medical discovery in November of 2012 changes the life of an ambitious epidemiologist. In the Fall of 2014 there is a new flu outbreak and that two-year-old discovery begins to destroy the world as we know it. Amidst the rolling plains of Central Illinois, three strangers are thrown violently into a world of death, disease and hardship as the world's obsession with youthfulness and vanity collides with capitalistic greed to create an unstoppable epidemic that spreads like wildfire across the planet, infecting billions of people and reducing their mental capacities to little more than that of jellyfish. These strangers band together as they taunt death with every day that they struggle to reach a refugee camp in California that they have been told is safe and well supplied. Join Nike, Colorado and Stripes as they trek across the country in search of safety, security and a semblance of normalcy in the newly-founded post-apocalyptic world around them. It is a world on the verge of destruction, filled with lunatics, egomaniacs and the living dead, and it's all they have left. The things that these survivors see, do and experience during their journey could very well be the death of them.
