In this powerful horror tale, nightmare becomes reality when a young girl's dreams are terrorized by monsters as a mad killer stalks her town
From Library Journal
A murky little ghost story. The Erskine family is a loving and happy one till trouble comes to tranquil Smalltown, USA. Their son's ex-girlfriend disappears; a sinister priest moves into the vacant church; their daughter makes a date with a boy who has been dead for a year; and a murderous lunatic is released from the mental institution. Worst of all, the youngest daughter is having nightmares that parallel or even precede these events. But are her nightmares merely portents, or is she the cause of the troubles? Definitely not A Nightmare on Elm Street , Grant's novel has an entirely different style and atmosphere. However, it is unclear even by the novel's close which events have really happened and which ones are only dreams. By the author of The Pet , this is for libraries with a large horror following.- A .
