These were the recurring themes featured in horror comics of the 1950s, when crime and horror comics were the dominant titles appearing on the newsstands, There was one Canadian comic book publisher who specialized in original horror comic magazines, but these books have become largely forgotten and scarce, whereas the more popular and well-known publishers such as EC, have had their famous titles republished time and again in high-quality formats. The Canadian publisher, Superior, has not been so fortunate. Now, for the first time, we present a collection of some of the best stories from Superior. Are these the greatest horror comics of all time? Hardly. However, they are a part of history and should be enjoyed for what they are: some of the oddest horror stories ever told in comic book form!
