Dream Catcher

Featuring 19 year-old dream sleuth and ingénue Tara Mason, Dream Catcher is set in upper Manhattan. Plagued by premonitions Tara Mason, new to New York City, found it difficult to ignore her murderous dreams. Nightmare after nightmare she slips into the body of a killing machine. When the descriptions of recent murder victim’s match those in her dreams she knows it’s more than a coincidence. After her roommate Melissa has gone missing, Tara begins to piece the scenes in her dreams together to find her and invokes the local authorities for help. Knowing full well that if she doesn’t hurry Melissa will soon be the next victim, Tara uses the power in her dreams to track down the illusive monster only to end up behind bars herself as the number one murder suspect. “Dream Catcher” is a thrilling mystery and touches on the occult and the paranormal. It has a love triangle and side story between Tara, her boyfriend Jake and Devin. The story travels to upstate New York onto the Mohawk reservation where Tara learns from what the Native American people call “Dream Guessers” on how to control her dreams and to use that power to fight the evil that haunts her dreams. I am a Mohawk Indian and used my reservation as a description for the setting in my book.
