33-year-old Annette escapes a soul-shattering, emotionally abusive relationship and finds herself alone in the French port city of Marseille. She gets acquainted with a much older history professor, Augustave, the host of the accommodation where Annette spends the night. Augustave immediately notices Annette’s fragility and, the next day, offers to take her to a lavender farm in the French Provence to meet an elderly medicine woman, famous for her mystical healing alchemy and knowledge of the local flora. Miraculous and inexplicable things happen on the farm as Annette discovers the world of ancient wisdom, learns about centuries old natural healing remedies, and reconnects with her sacred feminine intuition. In the midst of searching for spiritual equilibrium following the trauma sustained in her previous relationship, Annette’s friendship with Augustave transcends into a profound and seemingly unbreakable bond. She begins to realize that one night spent in Marseille may have drastically rerouted the course of her existence and that her spiritual mission might be more important and impactful than she ever realized.
