It took my breath away even thinking about it.“Lucifer’s eyes widened in surprise, seeing me, likely wondering why, of all Heaven’s souls, I was the one sent to free him as I came upon his dragon self in the dark corridor. I took a step back, and swallowed, panting in terror, my voice silenced.“’Well hello,’ he said, with a slight snicker. His voice while low, seems to vibrate, bringing tendrils of smoke, and a flicker of fire, like a whispering in the air, as a breeze moving flames through dry leaves.”She chuckles, remembering. “One look at the creature who approached, and I nearly fled. He knew I was frightened, for he stopped a snarl curling his upper lip….Seeing him, I pressed closer to the wall. Lucifer almost laughed. You know that sparkle of amusement that lights one’s eyes when they find the situation humorous?”“Lucifer,” I said, “the Lord bid me come to speak.” Barely able to breathe I whispered the words I’ll not soon forget: ‘Lucifer Morningstar, Son of the Dawn.’ I had to stop to calm down.” She swallows recollecting. “I repeated again, ‘Lucifer Morningstar, Son of the Dawn, are you prepared to rend your heart, to turn unto the Lord, and to repent of all your iniquity?’.If you ask, most Christians will tell you, “it’s impossible for Lucifer ever to be redeemed.” Those who believe themselves well-versed in the Bible may even point out a Scripture or two, to prove their point. Nevertheless, were you to mention an equally well-known verse, ‘with God all things are possible,’ likely you’d hear, “yes but…” and they’d promptly discount it, and refer again to those aforementioned scriptures they quoted earlier.My story takes place after the so-called ‘end times’ at a time not addressed in the Bible, at least not in any depth or detail. Rather, my imagination has invited heaven and it’s celestials on a supernatural journey, heretofore unknown to humankind, Christian or otherwise. And so, I challenge you to put aside your preconceived notions of Lord Adonai and his heavenly host, including Lucifer and all those souls who now abide in heaven, and journey with me, far beyond our known universe. Traveling with us will be a few angels, human souls, seraphs and cherubs, including Lucifer Morningstar, and the new ruler in Hell. After all, someone had to take Lucifer's place, to keep those demons in line.
