The Off Season is a combination murder mystery and supernatural saga involving Shadows that do whatever they want to accomplish their evil goals. The novel focuses on David Farmer who authored a bestseller entitled Shadows: The Other Side. Farmer, now retired and living a quiet life in a luxury high-rise on the beach, literally bumps into a fan on the famous Wildwood NJ boardwalk, and the sinister Shadows return. This occurs just as a serial killer is on the loose. It's the off season and the tourists have gone home and yes, this season is a bit off.
