Path of Power, Mystery at the barony

Path of Power, Mystery at the barony

Young Alexander has been transported to the world of Fomalhout. Truly something unexpected and even welcome for someone so ordinary. How unfortunate for humanity that they all came with him, and didn't have the same luck with the location. Some ended adrift at sea, while others found themselves in the middle of hostile territory and couldn't adapt quickly enough; some were killed for pleasure, and many without cause. But you know what they say 'No great captain can be made in a tranquil sea; they were made in raging storms.'. Oh, and what a storm it will be, and what a captain! Part of me does wonder if anyone would choose to have Alexander's fate over a meaningless death if they really knew the path that was before him, but I better not get ahead of myself. Why not join me as I tell the tale? You will learn of magic, beast and steel. More importantly, you will learn of power and all the things, bitter and sweet, that come with it. A lesson better shown by Alexander, as he is tossed into a quaint Barony led by the great man, with good kind people. Unbeknown to him, bloodshed, tragedy and war followed closely behind. What other choice will the young man have other than to fight? I hope this story can provide a tiny bit of respite in your daily lives. Maybe it's good, great even, or maybe it is bad, horrible even. All that I hope is that I managed to distract you for a moments time. - Joseph J. Black.
