Sadie is going into her junior year of high school, but she won’t be attending in her home state of California. When her father skips town and abandons her family, Sadie, her mom, and her little brother Aiden have no other option but to move to an old family home on the other side of the country—a house with its own name: Roselynn. When you live in a house built in the Civil War era, you can expect a few things to go bump in the night, literally. Sadie dreams of ghostly figures and Aiden talks of an imaginary friend, while Mom ignores it all. As Sadie realizes that the dreams are more messages beyond the grave and Aiden’s friend isn’t so imaginary…that’s when she comes to find that there’s more to this story than she originally thought. She, her mom, and her brother aren’t the only ones living in their family home. Armed with nothing but time and a desire to find out the truth, Sadie must uncover the secret of Roselynn and why ghosts continue to haunt her dreams with increasing intensity. But will she understand their messages before it’s too late?
