Quiet Little Voices: The Collected Trilogy

Amiette LeMarie died on January 13th, 1997. It was only temporary, of course; all those doctors and surgeons with their top-notch toys put her right back together again after her traumatic, life-changing accident. On the surface she should be happy; she had life again. But nothing is right. There's an unsettling sense of existential angst in her life, a growing anxiety that refuses to depart. Sometimes it almost feels like she's brought something back with her... When she bought the old King Estate, her childhood dream home, she thought it would be a good way to find herself again. To learn who she was. To learn how to live after the accident, to recover, to enact all sorts of wonderful changes in her life. Instead she finds only growing fear, both from an unsettling presence within the walls of her new home, as well as from a personal nurse who's bedside manner is pretty damn abhorrent all things considered. The QUIET LITTLE VOICES Trilogy explores what happens when you don't have the good sense to stay dead, and why you should always make sure to clean your shoes off when you come in from the afterlife.
