The Vampire: Origins

A vampire has not been born to the world in one-hundred years; none except twenty-four year old Josephine Rihan Landry. The once strong bloodline is now thin, and without Josephine, the line may well perish. After a hard day at the office, Josephine is snatched out of her hum-drum nine to five life to be deposited into a world where vampires and dark angels reign. In days she realizes she is a vampire. As she learns to accept and embrace her innate vampiric nature, she discovers she is one of a handful of viable women whose children will be born true, strong, very powerful vampires.

About the Author

Born on August 5, 1977 Jessica Jenkins hails from the great metropolis of Dallas, TX; but her home is everyplace. Currently, Jessica lives in Irving, TX with her seven year old daughter Jessica has written since before she can remember, and hopes up to now has honed her skills enough that, her words, her stories, her darlings, you will not soon forget."There is no romance or splendor in what motivates me to obsess over the written word. I write because I breathe. It is as simple as that. The great muse, that bit of something or someone that pushes an artist forward to create, I think, is myself.
