Pilots see and experience unusual things all the time and virtually never discuss them with non-pilots. There's an unwritten code of silence which is needed to protect their licenses and jobs. Hopefully we will reach a point where aviators can tell these stories openly without fear of retribution. Until that day comes, they can only be told safely as fiction. I have created some dialog to make the stories interesting to the average reader and changed names to protect crew members and companies. A few minor changes and additions can enhance the readers experience without compromising the underlying story. Remember, these are all works of fiction. At least as of today….
