Shalryn, a twenty-year-old woman, has had a rough three years. Losing both her parents at the age of seventeen, she was forced to drop out of high school to take care of her brother. She worked hard and finally got her GED, which she was proud of, only to have the world go to hell. Mana has arrived and it has ‘Enhanced’ Earth. Monsters now spawn out of nowhere while regular animals have grown in size and become unnaturally aggressive. Shalryn has no choice but to use the only tool given to her by this new mana, Necromancy. She will need to fight monsters with the undead in order to rescue her brother and find a safe haven for themselves. But will her new powers be enough to protect the ones she cares about?
