About the Author

Fran Rizer and Richard D. Laudenslager are South Carolinians who share an interest in all things paranormal, especially ghosts and things that go bump in the night. Laudenslager wears many hats. He is an artist, adventurer, explorer, builder, woodworker, entrepreneur, inventor, fantasy football enthusiast, Bigfoot researcher, and ghost hunter. He's also the author of the novel WOUNDED. Ghost-hunting and writing come together in SOUTHERN SWAMPS AND RUINS. Fran Rizer has loved both reading and writing ghost stories since childhood. She began selling magazine features in college but didn't tackle fiction until after her retirement from teaching. Writer of cozies, thrillers, and horror -- Rizer's cozies include seven Callie Parrish mysteries. She adds ghost stories to this list with publication of SOUTHERN SWAMPS AND RUINS.
