Having just broken up with her boyfriend, Karen is all set to enjoy herself at a huge California beach party, but she soon realizes that an unknown menace is stalking her
From School Library Journal
Grade 5-8-- Many teenage novels that could be good are not because the main characters have no redeeming value, or are not the least bit interesting. Beach Party , unfortunately, falls into that category; thus, when the main characters are murdered or their lives are threatened, most readers won't care. Stine is a good writer of many young adult novels, but this particular offering can be passed over without a thought. --Alice Cronin, Mountainside Public Lib ., NJCopyright 1991 Reed Business Information, Inc.
