Age of Vampires

This novel follows the life of an eighteen year old girl named Lucy Brown. Even in her short life, Lucy has experienced excruciating amounts of heartbreaking loss and soul-crushing despair, causing her to become cold to the world and put up thick, impenetrable walls around her fractured mind: If she trusted no-one then no-one could hurt her. If she never loved, then she could never be heartbroken. This is the story of how one girl with an awful past, full of death and heartache, managed to pull through her sadness and anger and come out the other side stronger. All of this had only been possible with the help and support of five people who came into her life at a time when she needed them the most, filling her shattered, broken heart with happiness and the hope of a better future.

About the Author

Sophie Petford is a seventeen year old girl who currently resides in Derbyshire (UK) with her mother, step-father, and three younger brothers. In a year she hopes to study film at University, moving on to pursue a career within television/film acting - while writing more novels on the side. Sophie also greatly enjoys rock music, pizza, and horror films. As is evident by the nature of this novel, she has an unhealthy obsession with mythology.
