The Tower of Shadows (The Holiday Journals)

Jack Holiday is not your average law man. Brighton, Missouri is not your average town. A series of gory murders set Jack and his team of deputies on the trail of a merciless killer who is intent on taking the lives of every soul inside the city limits. If only that was all Jack had to deal with. An old friend from the war has come to Brighton with his band of outlaws, and he has not forgotten how Jack betrayed the South. Bullets will fly before the end of this chapter in Jack's life, and everything will come to a head in a hail storm of blood and lead. The righteous are never forgotten, and Jack finds help from a snake oil salesman who's snake oil actually works, and from a native american who hails from an ancient tribe of warriors and shamans. Together they stand against dark forces that have begun to stir around Brighton, but will they be enough? Or will Brighton become another dead town, haunted by the ghosts of the damned?
