Rein must find the broken pieces of Ares' (the God of war) sword and return them to the Isle of the Gods before Freya make good on her promise to punish Alya. To do this he has to make a promise to the dark elves, fight Ice Giants, and be an errand boy for his mother. Bram and Almon, his best friends rejoin him for this adventure along with new companions. Journey with Rein as he faces new dangers learns more about his mother's lust for power and what happens when he is faced with new trials on the Isle of the Gods.
