As soon as they walked through the gate, Pip and Star felt that something's not right. The castle inhabitants, Adelheid and Arend-Jan Florin, have secrets and they're terrified that someone will find out. This is evident when they saw that the two friends have seen Janneke, the woman who lived hundreds of years ago in the castle. From that moment, a struggle begins which continues to affect Pip and Star, and their girlfriend, Kim, who is in trouble. Will they have enough time to expose themselves or the victim of the Florin family? Dini Reijers is not far from the Castle of the Lord where she grew up. The building and its surroundings have inspired her to write this story about the former residents whom not much is known. The reason for this could be that nothing ever happened, or something happened but they are not to be remembered. Her previous book, The Magic Key Lock is published by Ravenstein.
